Bensalem Child Support Attorney

Family Law Attorney in Bensalem, Pennsylvania Area

Handling Child Custody and Child Support Matters since 1992

At the Law Office Kenneth G. Harrison, Esq., P.C., I have helped men and women throughout the Lower Bucks County, Philadelphia and Eastern Montgomery County area resolve child custody and child support issues since 1992. I built my successful practice on a commitment to personal service and attention. When you retain my office to help you with a custody or support matter, you will always work directly with me, never with a paralegal or support staff member. For a free initial consultation, contact my office or call me at 215-447-3149 (toll-free at 888-791-1404) to set up an appointment.

My Child Custody Practice

I will help you establish and implement child custody and parenting plans that are in the best interests of your minor children while maintaining and protecting your rights as a parent. I will carefully listen to you to determine what is most important to you and will work with you to find creative solutions that are in everyone's best interests. The custody arrangements I help you create will consider the educational, medical, religious and other special needs of your children.

When working with you on a custody matter, I will strive to minimize the financial cost to you, as well as the impact of any dispute on your child. To the extent possible, I advise you to keep your children out of the middle of your custody disagreements.

My Child Support Practice

In Pennsylvania, child support is based on a mathematical formula, taking into consideration the incomes of both parents. I will review any proposed child support orders for compliance with state guidelines and to determine that all relevant income is included in the calculation, such as self-employment income, seasonal income or commission-based income. I will also help you address special needs or expenses, including day care, health or medical insurance costs, and private or special school tuition.

In child custody and child support matters, it has been my experience that the best solutions are those that are worked out cooperatively by the parties. I encourage you to work with your ex-spouse to find ways to amicably resolve your differences. Nonetheless, if you cannot, I am not afraid to aggressively pursue your objectives in a court of law.
